### **Eligibility Criteria**  

To apply for the position of Trainee Engineer, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  - Proficiency in *TCL* and *Perl* scripting languages.

### **Key Responsibilities**  

As a Trainee Engineer at Quest Global, your responsibilities will include:  

1. **Debugging and Verification**  

   - Strong debugging skills using *UVM* (Universal Verification Methodology) and *System Verilog*.  

   - Understanding specifications and standards to develop relevant test plans.  

2. **Test Bench Development**  

   - Creating monitors, scoreboards, sequencers, and sequences using scripts, System Verilog, UVM, and other methodologies to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.  

   - Navigating large test benches and analyzing test coverage to improve performance.  

3. **Physical Design and Tool Utilization**  

   - Hands-on experience with industry-standard PnR (Place and Route) tools such as *ICC2* and *Innovus*.  

   - Understanding signoff tools like *PrimeTime*, *Redhawk*, and *Calibre* for design verification.  

   - Performing physical design at the block level with full knowledge of the PnR cycle.  

4. **Technical Guidance**  

   - Assisting junior engineers with technical challenges and mentoring them to resolve complex issues.

### **Tools and Software Proficiency**  

Candidates should have experience or familiarity with the following tools:  

- Physical Design Tools: *ICC2*, *Innovus*  

- Signoff Tools: *PrimeTime*, *Redhawk*, *Calibre* (DRC/LVS)  

- Scripting: *TCL*, *Perl*
